Belated birthday cake in the British Museum Gallery Cafe.

I chose it cos I had no idea what it was!

It seemed to be layers of thin, nutty meringue cake with cream between and icing on top.

Very nice but rather too sweet. It was also v messy to eat with fingers (I couldn’t find a fork)!
