Autumn Fruit Almond Sponge, Tynemouth

Roy of Roy’s Bakery, wherever you are, you are the king of cakes.

This bad boy was an almond sponge soaked in autumn fruits until literally, sodden. It was soooo squidgy and delicious. Fruit included, strawberries, blueberries and cherries.

I would give my cat flap for one more taste of Roy’s autumn fruits….
